Why Can't I Find My Notion Databases/Pages in My Integration?

When you use an integration with Notion, Notion allows you fine-grained control about which pages and databases you want to share with your integration.

This is great to help you protect your data, but can make it difficult to ensure your integration has access to the right databases.

This article helps you identify why a specific database is not available in your Notion Integration.

I am writing this specifically to help users of my Notion integration AI Auto Relation for Notion but all described strategies should work with other integrations as well!

Check 1: Correct Workspace?

If you cannot find your database in your integration, first verify that your integration is added to the correct workspace.

For this, head to the workspace that contains the database you are looking for. To change the workspace in Notion, click the workspace name on the top lefthand side of the screen and then click on the workspace you want to switch to:

Confirm you are in the correct workspace. The workspace name should now be displayed at the top lefthand side of the screen:

Now click on the workspace name again and select [Settings]:

Then click on Connections and verify your integration is included in the list under My connections:

Your integration should also give you some indication of what workspace or workspaces it is connected to.

For AI Auto Relation, you can see the workspace that is linked to your account by clicking on your email address at the top righthand corner of the AI Auto Relation dashboard:

Check 2: Page Shared with Integration

After you have verified your integration is linked to your correct workspace, you still need to confirm the integration has access to the correct pages / databases in your workspace.

For this, head to the page you want to share with the integration. Then click the [...] button at the top righthand corner of the screen.

In the menu that appears, hover with your mouse over the Connections menu item. Verify your integration is listed under Active connections:
