GPT 4.1 and GPT 4.1 mini Models Now Supported for AI Auto Relation
Learn about the new Open AI models supported and how to use them.

I've just updated AI Auto Relation for Notion to support additional Open AI models.
Now, it is possible to automatically set Notion relations using the newer GPT-4.1 and GPT 4.1 mini models.
- GPT-4.1: This is Open AI's flagship model for complex tasks, generally outperforming GPT-4o that was previously available in AI Auto Relation.
- GPT-4.1 mini: This is a faster and cheaper version of GPT-4.1, that for many tasks outperforms GPT-4o.
The default for new relations is now GPT-4.1 mini. Since it almost matches GPT-4o in performance, I hope it will provide sufficient accuracy in determining matches.
If you find AI Auto Relation not assigning the relationship properties correctly, you can always edit your relation and change it to GPT 4.1.
For this, simply click on your relation and then select [Edit]:

I don't recommend using GPT-4o or GPT-4o mini any more.
The new GPT 4.1 and GPT 4.1 mini models will use less credits while having similar or better matching accuracy.
Also keep in mind that matching accuracy is determined by the quality of your data and the configuration of your Auto Relation.
